For sale is an AMAZING, vintage, Whiting & Davis, Art Deco, mirrored, gold mesh, chic, clutch style purse with hinged, kiss closure top on one side and multiple card, cash, and photo slots that are secured with a snap closure on the other side! The purse is a rare, Whiting & Davis, style clutch in new condition that will come in its box!
It is made from a mirrored, gold tone mesh with matching leather accents! The top has a hinged, kiss style closure on one side with a pleated design that allows it to hold more than you might think. The other side has a bi-fold style opening with multiple compartments, slots, pockets, and a plastic removable card holder that is secured with a gold leather snap closure at the top. Inside, it is lined with fabric with the traditional 'WHITING & DAVIS CO' logo print throughout.
It is a unique, quality, purse that is the epitome of early 20th century style. It is in mint, vintage condition, especially for its age- based on the condition and the fact it comes with its original box, I'm not sure if it was ever even used! There are no mesh flaws or loss that are to be expected with a nearly 100 year old purse. This is a fabulous clutch that is stylish in any era! You could also use it as a wallet!
