For sale is an early, rare, GUCCI, black Guccissima print canvas and black leather, satchel/ tote bag with two handles, a structured body, and a round, red and green enamel GG logo snap! This is a rare, collectible purse by Gucci that you will have and love forever!
It is a two handle, structured and boxy, smaller tote or medium satchel style that is very rare- I have only seen two others in this style and I have them for sale, too. The bag is made of the Guccissima print in canvas and leather in black. There is a flap, snap closure on top. The snap is a large, round, 1973- type GG logo style in red and green enamel with either chrome or gold that has faded and looks chrome, however, all of the hardware looks this way, so I tend to think it was chrome from the start. The 1973 line was re-released by Gucci in 2020, so don't miss out!
The interior is lined with a faded red diamonte fabric lining that is very clean. Inside, there is one compartment and a zip close pocket. It predates serial numbers but has the 'Made in Italy by Gucci, Brevettato (or 'patent') stamp embossed in gold. It was authenticated by CarolDiva, a third party source who was the #1 recommended authentication expert for online stores, so buy with confidence! It has a unique, mod look only Gucci could create and that will never go out of style!

This piece is in mint condition- I gave the leather a good polishing/cleaning and it looks great and the enamel is bright and shiny! There are a couple of small spots of loose stitches on one strap, but the purse is ~ 50 years old- see pictures. The loose stitches are barely noticeable, do not effect its wear-ability, and would be a simple repair.
It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! I have the same style in the brown Guccissima print, as well as the extremely rare 1950's, diagonal GG logo print in brown, both of which have the round red and green enamel GG accents and the smaller, brown Guccissima print, pouch style shoulder bag listed for sale in other ads, if you like the style but prefer it in brown.
