The dress is black and white with a 1960's style, mod pattern. The dress has an empire waist look with a black belt that threads through the center to create a belt and give it a wrap look. The hemline is asymmetrical and comes to right below the knee. It has a really retro mod look.
It is made of a 100% polyester. It is sleeveless with a heart shaped neckline. It is a sleeveless dress that could be worn anywhere! It could be casual with sandals or dressed up with a shrug and metallic accessories!
Measurements (It does have some give): Size: 8; Bust: 36" plus darts; Waist: 29"; Length: 36" (from under arm to hem); Hips: 38"
The cut makes for a flattering (and forgiving) look. It lays beautifully. I purchased the dress for full price ($300+) about 3 years ago for an occasion and never wore it.
