Gucci Webby Bag Eclipse W Early And Leather Sherry Stripe Brown Suede Tote

For sale is an early, Gucci, Eclipse style, open top, shoulder style tote bag made of brown leather and suede with a green and red Sherry striped fabric trimmed snap front pocket, gold hardware, and high-end bohemian style! It is a rare and unique style from Gucci that is still completely fashionable today!

This is a very rare early style from Gucci that I have only come across twice in the 15+ years I have been collecting vintage designer purses- it makes use of the same large gold hardware discs Gucci uses in its more recent Eclipse line where the strap is attached! It is a large size, open top, high-end bohemian look, over the shoulder tote bag in brown leather and brown suede with a front, snap close pocket that is trimmed at the top with green and red striped fabric.

At the top, it has chunky, Eclipse line, gold hardware where the brown leather strap is attached. The piping and accents are made of brown leather. Inside, the lining is made of tan suede and very clean. It has one interior compartment and a zip close pocket with its fob attached. The purse predates serial numbers, but is embossed in gold with 'Made in Italy by Gucci' and 'Breve. N. 53314' (or patent number).

Dimensions: 12" to 14" x 1" x 13" when full; strap drop: 16";

This is a unique and rare vintage purse that is in excellent condition! The exterior looks great- the only issue is that the strap, which is still completely usable, shows wear appropriate to its age (see condition notes), so I have included a leather replacement strap for when you would like it. This will be the only brown purse you will need!
