For sale is a RARE, unique, mod, Gucci, brown Guccissima print coated canvas and brown leather, '1973' style top handle shoulder bag with a gold GG, bottom, flap snap lock! It is a unique vintage style that would be a great used as your signature brown purse and was recently re-released by Gucci!
The bag is unusual- not like the classic, Gucci, purses I online on here for sale. It is definitely from the 1960's to 70's, based on its mod and high end bohemian style. The purse is made from a brown leather. It has a gold double GG flap snap lock at the bottom and large G logo design. The bag has wear to the leather on the strap which may need to be repaired or replaced at some point & the leather had started to separate from the frame in certain areas- I had it fixed, but it may still need some TLC to return it to its original glory. It has a gold GG flap snap closure on the bottom and an exterior pocket on the back. This GG logo has been brought back in the Gucci 1973 collection that just came out with purses that cost $$$$$!
It is vintage and there is minimal wear to the coated canvas exterior- see pictures. The wear is to the leather strap, frame, and could eventually effect the integrity of the purse. The purse predates serial numbers and is stamped behind the front pocket. There is also a gold, Gucci tag embossed on the back. It is an unusual, vintage Gucci and will always be in style!
Dimensions: 10" x 9" x 2.5" Strap drop: 18" adjustable
This piece is fabulous! You could wear it as your everyday brown purse and it would look great! Check out my other listings in my store!
