For sale is a vintage, mod, Gucci, small G logo brown fabric & camel leather, rectangular, envelope top, cross body/shoulder bag with a removable strap to be a clutch! A quality classic purse from Gucci that will be the only brown purse you will need!
The bag is made of a small 'G' logo style fabric in brown. It has a cross body/shoulder strap that is removable to make the purse a clutch! It is a classic, square shape with an envelope style flap top closure that stays secure with a twist clasp. It has camel colored leather comprising the top, bottom, sides, body, interior, and strap. The interior has one zip close pocket and is very clean! It is like getting two designer purses for the price of one!
It is from, I think, the 1960's/1970's and by Gucci. The purse predate authentication #s buy has gold writing the Gucci crest and 'Gucci and Italy' above and below it. The purse is authentic and has been authenticated by a third party source, so, so buy with confidence!
Purse: 8.5" x 7" x 2"; Strap length: 19" (removable and adjustable);
This purse would be a fantastic addition to any collection! The only issue can be seen in the last picture- there is a small area of wear under the clasp, where it was probable touched a lot. It is less than .5" long and, if it really bothers you, there are specialty shops that repair fraying fabric like this for very reasonable prices. The hardware is somewhat faded, there are some stray pen marks on the interior of the top, and the strap is slightly discolored in a 1" area- see pictures. The issues are hard to see when it is in use, reflected in the price of this purse and don't effect its wear-ability.
The purse is amazing - this is the only brown purse you will ever need! I have the matching small G fabric, large,checkbook style wallet for sale in another ad and several other Gucci purses with the small brown G logo fabric, which is rare! Check them out!
