* For sale is a vintage, 1960's mod, early Gucci, black glossy leather, roomy, multi-compartment, shoulder purse with gold tone hardware, a twist top closure, and two strap lengths! It is a unique, gorgeous bag that is in great vintage condition!
The bag is a shoulder style purse by GUCCI in a rare, all leather style. It is made from a glossy black leather with gold tone hardware and has a twist type top closure. There are bold, polished gold, accents on the sides and at the front exterior of the snap closure. It has the mint condition, original, black leather snap close pouch with a mirror inside that you could easily use as a wallet or change purse!
Inside, it has three layers of compartments to allow it to hold more than you may think. The black leather lined interior has lots of slit and zip pockets and three compartments to keep you organized and is very clean. On the right side of one compartment, there are the numbers 80 above 72, which I think is an early style of serial numbers. There are two strap lengths, too, to give you two different looks!
This purse is in great overall condition! It has a mod, late 1960's to early 1970's, mod, high end bohemian look that will never go out of style. It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! This bag was definitely made by the one of the top high end Italian designers that every lady deserves to own a purse by for her collection!
Measurements are 11" x 4.5"x 8.75" with 9" and 17" strap drops; serial #80 72; *Item #: 23142672
The purse is in excellent condition! Please note bag is not new and is exactly as pictured and was professionally cleaned. It is 100% authentic Gucci made in Italy and predates serial numbers the way we are used to them but has the number embossed in gold inside the front compartment. It has the early gold embossed 'Gucci Made in Italy'.
