ONE OF A KIND VINTAGE GUCCI BAG!

*For sale is a RARE, early Gucci, brown Guccissima print canvas and brown leather, original Gucci Accessory Collection, XXL satchel/tote bag, briefcase/laptop bag, or overnight/weekend bag, with
reed and green Sherry stripes, removable strap, a hard, hinged frame, shiny gold hardware, and three large compartments! This is a great looking, early, iconic bag from Gucci with a timeless style you will not find again in this style and condition- The similar Ophidia styles cost ~ $6K+!

This is a fabulous, mid 20th century, vintage, Gucci Accessory Collection, canvas and brown leather, XXL doctor's satchel or Boston bag shape weekend or overnight bag. It made of canvas in shades of brown with the Guccissima print webbing throughout. There are matching leather accents throughout the purse- on the bottom, opening around the double-sided, dual buckle closure, single handle, and removable strap. The hardware is still bright and shiny and there are two red and green stripes on each side by the buckles. It has a gold engraved shield that reads GUCCI.

Inside, it is lined in very clean canvas fabric with brown leather that looks unused. There is a large, zip around compartment, like a dress/suit bag would have and dual buckle closure compartments on both sides plus pockets. It pre-dates serial numbers the way we see them now, but on the interior, there is a round leather patch embossed in gold that reads 'Gucci Boutique, Made in Italy by 24'.

The exterior and interior of this rare piece are in mint vintage condition! This bag is from the original Sherry line- even the Gucci museum does not have all of the pieces from this line in Florence; Their Historical Archives has purchased several pieces from this line from me in the past for this reason!
