For sale is a Gucci, Jackie 1961 hobo bag, made in hard to find, stone color leather with a gold piston closure and extender strap! It is a the classic mod style from Gucci in the all leather style with the extender strap that would be great used as your signature neutral purse!
The bag is the perfect Jackie original by Gucci in the all leather version that everyone wants! It is made of supple stone colored leather with every stitch in place! The purse is the small to medium size and has a gold, rounded piston style closure and the extender strap! It will come with a Gucci dust bag.
The lining is very clean tan leather. Inside, there is one compartment and an interior zip close pocket! It is the perfect size for everyday use! In my opinion, it is mint condition and I have graded vintage bags for 20 years- see condition notes for details!
The bag is in amazing condition. It has the true 1960's Gucci mod look because it is the original from 1961, not the re-release! It pre-dates serial #s the way we are used to seeing them today but there is a gold embossed stamp that reads, 'Gucci , Made in Italy' and the hardware is engraved 'Gucci'. which is what you would expect to see on an authentic Gucci of this era, so buy with confidence!
Dimensions: 10"to 11" x 2.5" when full x 7" to 10"; Strap drop: 8" or 19" (adjustable/removable);
If you want a 'brand new' purse, vintage is not for you. If you want a Jackie 1961 in mint condition that has been pre-owned, has a 1 cm scuff mark, and costs a fraction of the brand new ones, this one is for you! It has been stored and unused for most of its life, seeing the light of day on a handful of special occasions!
