For sale is a Gucci, black leather, V shaped, zip top, purse with gold accents, & a black bamboo handle! It has the 1960's classic mod style Gucci is known for and would be great used as your signature black purse or when you want to dress up an outfit with the bold gold accents and unique, glossy black bamboo handle!
The bag is the perfect, large size, top handle purse by Gucci! The purse is a fabulous and unique, black matte finished leather (it also came in a black glossy finish leather). It has a glossy black, painted bamboo handle and bold gold accents with a zip top closure. It has the true 1960's Gucci mod look!
On the interior there is one main compartment with a back zipper pocket! The lining is a clean, black leather coating that has not started to peel the way so many of the linings in the purses from this line from Gucci with bamboo accents. It has been sealed to try to prevent the lining from starting the peeling process. If for some reason the sealing process doesn't prevent the leather coating from starting to peel while in storage, I will have the sticky leather coating professionally removed to reveal the fabric below. The purse has a serial number of 001.3008.002058.
Measurements are 7" at center to 9" tall at the edges x 10" to 11" wide x 5" deep ; Handle drop: 8"
This is a true vintage find! Please note bag is vintage, so there are minor signs of use, such as shallow scratches on the super soft leather, which pretty much polished away- see pictures. You will be the only person with this rare gem from Gucci! You could dress it up or wear it with jeans and it would look great! This is the only black purse you will need! The bamboo handle purses came in a few sizes and this is the medium- I have the same purse listed in this size in suede & leather in black with a metallic G logo print, green with a khaki logo print, and brown with an attached wallet. I also have the extra large size in glossy black and the black suede with embossed G logo! DON'T MISS OUT!
