For sale is a vintage, early Gucci, brown, large G logo coated canvas & leather, large, top zip, shoulder purse with inlaid red/green striped accents on the sides and bold gold G logo hardware! The purse is an early design from Gucci that is a perfect year round, signature purse!
The bag is made of a brown, large G logo coated canvas & leather, large, top zip, shoulder purse with inlaid red/green striped accents on the sides. The bottom, top, sides, piping and strap are all leather. There are striped accents on both sides and it has a unique, bold gold G logo where the strap is attached. This purse can hold all of your daily needs and would work year round with any outfit!
It has all of the details an authentic Gucci should, like the YKK zipper, stamped hardware. It pre-dates serial numbers, but has been authenticated by a third party expert. It has a unique, look that incorporates all of the classic Gucci looks that will never go out of style. It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: 12.5" x 5" x 9.25"; Strap drop: 12"
The exterior of the purse is in great vintage condition- no issues with the coated canvas or integrity of the purse. The leather does show some wear in the areas you might expect, but looks great considering the purse is probably from the late 1960's to early 1970's. I like the high-end bohemian look and character of the vintage leather, but if you want a purse that looks brand new, this is not the one for you.
