For sale is a unique, mod, Gucci, navy Guccissima print canvas and black leather, vintage, '1973' style, top handle shoulder bag with a bold gold GG accent on flap snap closure, two strap lengths, and an expandable, accordion bottom! It is an unusual vintage style that Gucci has re-released similar versions of in its 1973 line; This would be a great used as your signature navy purse!
The bag is unusual- not like the classic, Gucci, purses I see online for sale. It is definitely from the late mid century based on its mod style. The purse is made of navy Guccissima print canvas and buttery soft, black leather. It has a bold gold double GG accent in the 1973 font on the flap snap closure. The wide flap matches the leather. The hardware is a bold gold color and there are snaps that give the strap two lengths!.
The bag has minimal wear to the leather lining. The lining is also navy and very clean- see pictures. The purse has an expandable, accordion style bottom and multiple pockets to keep you organized. It is not a huge looking purse, but because of the expandable bottom and pockets, it can hold more than you would think!
The purse predates serial number and is stamped and embossed on the back of the purse's top where the flap closure is attached with a gold, Gucci, Italy crest. It is an unusual, vintage Gucci and will always be in style! It has been authenticated by a third party expert, so buy with confidence.
