* For sale is an early Gucci, beige canvas and medium brown leather, XL, structured, oval shaped, 'Web' style satchel shoulder bag with a red and green, Shelly striped center, bold gold, locking snap center, bold gold accents, a wide leather shoulder strap in an early Jackie O type style! This is the perfect purse for everyday with the signature Gucci look that will never go out of style!
The wide strap, satchel style hobo shoulder bag and its many variations was (and still is) a style staple Gucci has produced and perfected and this is a great example! The iconic red and green trim accent is an equestrian-inspired element that was derived from a saddle's girth. The saddle's girth or 'web' is a piece of equipment that is placed under the saddle to keep it in place. This is a perfect signature purse in a timeless style! It predates serial numbers but has been authenticated by a third party expert, so buy with confidence! The exterior of the purse is in excellent vintage condition! The purse's leather lining shows little to no wear- see pictures! The light canvas fabric and camel leather are in amazing vintage condition, too- no discoloration from use on the handles or bottom! You will love this purse, especially if you like Gucci purses with striped accents, Jackie O looks, and/or vintage styles!
