For sale is a Gucci, 1955 Horse-bit style, navy leather hobo style shoulder bag with an inlaid, iconic red and navy web stripe, gold horse-bit and GG logo accents, a zip top closure, and unique logo details! It is a unique take on a classic hobo style that would be great used as an everyday purse or saved for special occasions!
The bag is incredible and has such fabulous mod design elements! The purse is made of navy blue glossy leather with a wide, red/blue fabric stripe inlaid into the center that has gold buckle GG logo accents on both sides! It a large, zip top style, shoulder purse with a single strap that is adjustable. The purse can hold much more than you may think! This purse is designed in such a classic style!
It has exterior and interior compartment and pockets! The interior, like the exterior has very little wear on common areas, like the piping, bottom, or strap. The leather really doesn't even show the scratches you would expect to see on a purse of this age! The purse pre-dates serial numbers and has the 'Made in Italy by Gucci' embossed in gold on the interior. It has been authenticated by a third party expert, so buy with confidence!
Dimensions: 12.5" x 3" when full x 9" ; strap: 13" to 15" (adjustable);
This is a rare mod style purse from Gucci and will always be in style! I have several other, early Gucci purses that have the same fabulous 1960's designer Italian style! I have similar brown and black patent leather purse that you may like, if this one catches your eye! Also, I have lots of gorgeous navy and red leather wallets that would make a great set with this purse! I love having a matched set whenever possible, so check them out!
This piece is in excellent vintage condition! You could wear it with jeans or dress it up and it would look amazing! This is the only navy blue purse that you will ever need! Check out my other listings in my store!
