* For sale is an amazing, vintage, 1960's, mod, Gucci, original 'Dionysus', brown suede and leather, satchel style handbag with an amazing, engraved gold and blue enamel, horse shoe shaped accent with tiger's heads at both ends on the flap snap closure and multiple interior pockets! It is a unique and incredibly rare vintage style that would be a head turner used as your signature or special occasion brown purse!
This exquisite, vintage purse has the gold tone and sapphire blue enamel, horse shoe shaped accents with engraved tiger heads on both sides that Gucci brought back in its modern Dionysus line! The bag is unusual- not like the classic, Gucci, purses I see online for sale. The bucket shaped satchel style purse is definitely from the 1960's, based on its mod style. The purse is a chocolate brown suede with matching leather acting as the frame, strap, piping, and flap closure. It has an exquisite, engraved, gold tone and sapphire blue enamel, horse shoe shaped accents with engraved tiger heads on both sides! The tiger head accent is attached to the leather flap snap closure. The purse has metal hardware on the top of both sides where the strap is attached. The craftsmanship that went into making this purse is amazing!
The purse has minimal wear to the leather lining. The lining is also brown leather and very clean- see pictures. The purse has multiple pockets to keep you organized. It is not a huge looking purse, but because of the bucket shape and pockets, it can hold more than you would think!
The purse predates serial number and is stamped and embossed on the back of the purse's top where the flap closure is attached with a gold, 'Made in Italy by Gucci, Breve #36277'. It is an unusual, vintage Gucci and will always be in style! It has been authenticated by a third party expert, so buy with confidence.
