Gucci Blue Micro ssima Print Leather Bucket Bag w red/blue stripe

For sale is an AMAZING and RARE, Gucci, navy, small G logo & leather, large, drawstring top, purse with adjustable strap and red/blue striped bottom by Paolo Gucci! This purse is so gorgeous and unique, plus the condition is phenomenal!

The bag has a navy blue, small G logo, coated canvas, body with a long, navy leather top where the drawstring closure is plus other accents. It is a drawstring bucket / cross body style with lots of room. The strap has snaps, do you can adjust it to 2 lengths and the large leather top where the drawstring is allows you to carry quite a bit while not looking like you are schlepping a suitcase. It has a fun, mod look while still looking like a fabulous high end purse that will never go out of style. It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! The exterior of the purse is in mint vintage condition on the interior and exterior- don't miss out!

This purse is also unlike any other Gucci I have in my collection in that it was made by Paolo Gucci when he was given his own line in the early 1980's. His bags were produced primarily in Mexico and some even in Haiti- this is where the 'Gucci Plus' line originated. I did some research and realized this was from the line Paolo produced in Mexico, because the gold interior plaque reads 'Gucci, Made in Mexico, Desde (or From) 1966 or 1986 (it is hard to make out)'.

There are still different lines of thinking when it comes to the purses produced during Paolo's four year separation from the heart of the family business about the 'authenticity' of these pieces. Some people collect the pieces from this era that were made in Mexico or Haiti, others look down on them. The Gucci website has started offering Gucci Plus on its website, which to me further legitimizes Paolo's designs, as does the Gucci trademarked name and logo design, but you can judge for yourself.
