For sale is a RARE, collectible, mod, early Gucci, black leather and ivory raffia like fabric, lunchbox style satchel with a bamboo handle! It is the original 1960's classic mod Gucci! It would be great used as your signature ivory or raffia purse or a special piece for special occasions in warmer months!
The bag is the perfect top handle tote style purse by Gucci! The purse is a petite size but holds more then you'd think! It is made of ivory raffia and black leather. There is a bamboo handle that is suspended by leather from both sides. It has the true 1960's Gucci mod look that is always in style! This is one of, if not the most desirable, collectible Gucci out there and this one is in beautiful vintage condition- I've never seen this raffia version intact before!
On the interior there is one compartment with a few pockets! It has a wide flap that fit into a twist closure on the front to keep everything secure. The lining has been professionally restored to fix the peeling/sticky texture and restore it to the fabric base! The purse has a serial number of 000.113.0231 which still has some of the peeling sticky leather upper lining on it in the photo, but cleaned up nicely.
Measurements are 9.5" x 3" x 7" ; Handle drop: 4"
This is a true vintage find! Please note bag is vintage and there are minor signs of use- see pictures. You will be the only person with this rare gem from Gucci! You could dress it up or wear it with jeans and it would look great! This is the only black and white purse you will need and is a collector's piece! I have the same lunchbox style bag in navy blue leather, all white leather, and black with red and green accents for sale in other ads, too! DON'T MISS OUT!
