For sale is a Gucci, RARE, mod, buttery soft red leather, top handle satchel style purse with lots of compartments, gold hardware, and a 'G' twist closure! It is a unique, 1960's, mod style from Gucci that would be great used as your signature red purse!
This style has recently been 'brought back' by Gucci, which means they are producing a limited quantity of this classic mod style! The bag is the perfect top handle, early Jackie O purse by Gucci that no one else will have! The purse is made of buttery soft, red leather with light gold tone accents! It is a larger size and has an envelope style flap top and twist lock closure in a 'G' shape. It has a true 1960's Gucci mod look that is still edgy and chic!
This purse makes a great use of space! On the interior, there are three large compartments, each with multiple pouches and pockets. It is lined in midnight blue leather and is extremely clean. The purse predates authentication numbers the way we see them now, but is marked with Gucci's, early gold stamped emblem and a very faded embossed number on the interior, front compartment that is hard to make out.
The bag has minimal wear to the exterior and the lining is very clean! In my opinion, it looks amazing for its age of almost 50 years old! Somebody took fabulous care of it and treated it with kid gloves so now you can enjoy it for another 50 years! I have the same style purse for sale in another ad in both brown and blue with the small G logo print and black leather, navy leather, and solid brown leather.
This is a true vintage find! Please note bag is vintage and there are minor signs of use- see pictures. You will be the only person with this rare gem from Gucci! You could dress it up or wear it with jeans and it would look great! This is the only red purse you will need! DON'T MISS OUT!
