For sale is a vintage, Fendi, mod look, true red lacquered or patent leather, two-way- cross body/shoulder purse or clutch! A gorgeous bag in amazing vintage condition that was created by the Italian design house during the time when Karl Lagerfield made Fendi his home!
It is made by Fendi during the initial years that Karl Lagerfield joined the company (I think). This bag is so cool and screams late 60's mod, but is still modern and edgy! It has a strap that is easily tucked into it, so it can be used as a clutch or wear it out and wear it as a cross body or shoulder bag style. You will never find this vintage style purse in this condition again- don't miss out!
The envelope top is made from a true red colored lacquered patent leather that is stitched in a linear design on the front. It folds and snaps to close. The leather body is a pouch style that expands to hold quite a bit! It has an exterior pocket on the back and fabulous FF perforated details where the strap is attached! The hardware is a muted gold color and there is an 'FF; embroidered logo patch on the front of the envelope top!
Inside, the layout is very basic. There is one, large compartment with one interior zip pocket. The inside is very clean in blue. It has an early, Fendi SAS tag, Roma; Made in Italy'- see pictures.
Measurements: 11" x 4" x 9"; Strap drop: 22" (adjustable)
It is a unique take on a classic envelope look that will never go out of style! It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! This bag was definitely made by the one of the top high end Italian designers that every lady deserves to own a purse by for her collection!
