For sale is a new old stock, Fendi, black velvet, XL clam shell, two-way- cross body/shoulder purse or clutch with a removable silk corde strap, beaded floral design on the front, and beaded latch top closure! This is a gorgeous, unused, vintage bag that was created by the Italian design house during the time when Karl Lagerfield made Fendi his home!
This purse was made by Fendi during the initial years that Karl Lagerfield joined the company (I think). This bag is so cool and screams late 60's mod, but is still modern and edgy! It has a detachable (or tuck-able) strap, so it can be used as a cross body or shoulder bag or carried as a clutch style. You will never find a vintage style purse in this type of beautiful condition again- don't miss out!
It is made from black velvet and is an XL clam-shell shape with a heavily beaded floral design on the front! It has a hinged opening with a beaded, latched top closure. It reminds me of the beautiful, modern, beaded bags Fendi has done- this is the original! The removable strap is a double strand, of a wide, silky, yarn-like material with a loops to fasten it on both sides. The strap is attached to hardware that is engraved 'Fendi' which can be collapsed into the purse to make it a clutch.
Inside, the layout is very basic. There is one, large compartment with a zip close pocket. The interior is lined in very clean matching leather that looks untouched. It has an early, Fendi gold printed leather tag that reads, 'Fendi SAS FF, Roma, Made in Italy'- see pictures. Don't miss out on this one of a kind piece!
Measurements: 17" x 3" when full x 14"; Strap drop: 20" (adjustable with knots/removable);

It is a unique take on a classic Art Deco looks that will never go out of style! It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! This bag was definitely made by the one of the top high end Italian designers that every lady deserves to own a purse by for her collection! I have purses from this line in a navy blue patent leather semicircular shape, other, similar geometric shaped ones in black, white, and ivory, and another one in the shape of a fan in red patent leather you may like.
