Fendi SAS red leather stylized fan shaped purse by Lagerfeld

For sale is a ONE OF A KIND, vintage, Fendi, Mod/ArtDeco/Asian look, red, lacquered/ patent leather, two-way- cross body/shoulder purse or clutch! 'It is a 'fan' shape with a zip closure and fringe at the bottom. It has the linear fan design on both sides and is exquisite! It is a gorgeous bag in amazing vintage condition that was created by the Italian design house during the time when Karl Lagerfeld made Fendi his home!

It is made by Fendi during the initial years that Karl Lagerfeld joined the company. This bag is so cool and screams late 60's mod and shows a strong Asian/Art Deco influence, but is still modern and edgy! It has a strap that can be tucked in, so it can be used as a cross body or shoulder bag or carried as a clutch style. You will never find this vintage style purse in this condition again- don't miss out!

It is made from a true red colored lacquered patent leather that is a stylized fan shape when closed with a stitched, linear design on both sides. It zips to close at the edge. The strap is a wide, yarn-like material with a snap to fasten it.

Inside, the layout is very basic. There is one, large compartment with one interior zip pocket. The inside is very clean in soft light beige leather. It has an early, Fendi SAS tag, Roma; Made in Italy'- see pictures.

It is a unique take on a classic top zip look that will never go out of style! It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! This bag was definitely made by the one of the top high end Italian design houses that every lady deserves to own a purse by for her collection! It would dress up beautifully or work a that fabulous accessory with a casual outfit

The closest I have seen to a purse like this is a more modern purse from when Karl Lagerfeld first opened his own line that is selling for $2500 on another site and is not nearly in the same condition or as interesting as this purse by Fendi.
