For sale is an authentic, Burberry, RARE, black, quilted suede & leather, hobo style shoulder bag with Nova plaid interior! This is a rare, gorgeous, vintage, designer purse with amazing style!
This is a fabulous, late 20th century beauty by Burberry made from black quilted suede & leather,accents in a hobo style! It made of black quilted suede and buttery soft, black leather. There are gunmetal silver accents throughout the purse. It has leather around the bottom and sides of the purse that connects with the shoulder strap.
The way the purse is designed is very smart. There are three main compartments- a center, zip closure, surrounded by snap shut compartments. There are smaller compartments within these three large ones. The interior is the signature Burberry Nova print plaid in tan, red, black & white. It looks unused!
The purse is definitely authentic; when it was purchased, I contacted the 'Burberry' expert on eBay, since I am not that experienced with this designer. I was told this was the real deal and a rare gem! I could tell by the quality of the materials it was special. I was thrown by the fact the signature reads Burberry's, not Burberry, but earlier in its history, the company carried the " 's ". All of the hardware has Burberry's markings. It is a unique, late 20th century style that is still as stylish today as it was years ago. I think it is from the 1970's - 1980's, but listed it as being made before 1996 to be safe.
The piece is in excellent condition. The interior looks unused! If this purse was used, it was with kid gloves. If you know more about the style or line, please email me. After researching it and CarolDiva authenticating it, she could not tell me much more than that it was authentic.
Dimensions of purse: 12" x 8" x 2.5" Strap drop: 11";
This is a wonderful, year round, everyday, leather purse. It would make a great gift for someone else or for yourself. It would be a fantastic addition to any collection! It is Burberry, so it will never go out of style and has all the quality Burberry is known for in its leather purses. I have several other pieces that would look great with this piece in other ads. I have many other designer purses that may interest you, too!
