For sale is a vintage, sterling and 10k gold, green jade and marcasite, signed, circle brooch! A perfect year round look from the past with a lot of style!
The brooch has six, circular pieces of green jade that are surrounded by a marcasite on either side. Between each piece of jade is a circle in gold with a chinese or japanese letter or symbol. The brooch is a combination of 10k gold and sterling. It is very Art Deco in style and theme! There are several marks that look like they could be that of the maker. I see a 'T', 'C', and 'L'. The brooch is delicate, yet substantial- a real eye-catcher!
This piece is completely unique! It is in excellent, vintage condition. It'd be a fantastic, addition to any jewelry box or as a great gift for someone special.
